What kind of problems can be helped through counseling?
|During your university career there might be times when you need a little extra support than your friends and family, for example when you first arrive and have to adapt to a new context or during periods of academic pressure, or when dealing with unexpected life events that impact on your emotional wellbeing.
How does counseling work?
|Counseling is a process that allows you to explore those issues that are causing you concern or distress. It’s an opportunity to talk about them in a confidential setting with a professionally qualified person.
The counselor will not tell you what to do, but will help you think about your difficulties in a non-judgmental manner and find the best way to face them.
How do I reserve an appointment?
|Appointment with our counselor can be booked in person or by e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org). The counseling service is available every Monday from 1 p.m to 2.30 p.m. in Room 12, Building 8, first floor.
