Egyptian Consul’s Impression of Humanitas

Mr. Sayed El Salahey is the consul of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Milan. Earlier this month, while visiting the Humanitas campus, he toured the university and hospital facilities. In addition, he met with Egyptian students and was kind enough to sit down for a short interview giving us insight into his bilateral experience.

Applications for non-European students are now open. Find out how to apply:

Egyptian Consul’s Impression of Humanitas:

What impressed you most of the hospital and the university?

I think this hospital has a very high standard that could be compared to the most famous hospitals in the world.

My tour was really good. I came out of my tour with a very good impression.

Would you suggest an Egyptian student to study in Italy?

I sense the high level of services that are offered here to everybody, to the students, to the patients.

I would highly recommend Egyptian students to come and study here due to the excellent level of education, the services and the benefits that they can get from studying here.

Do you believe that living in Italy would be easy for Egyptian students?

Definitely, it would be very easy. We have so many things in common between Italy and Egypt, and it is very close, the weather, the Mediterranean culture, so many aspects. I think they would also love to learn the Italian language. I think yeah, it is highly recommended. It is a very good experience, I definitely say so.
