Education and Academic appointments

Professor Piergiuseppe Colombo is in Humanitas since 2000, where he dedicated his efforts to surgical pathology of all fields of human diseases. Since 2019 he is a member of the Regional Board of the Italian Society of Pathological Anatomy (SIAPEC). He is Member of the National Panel for the histological review of prostate biopsies of the Italian Protocol for Active Surveillance (PRIAS) and of the Genitourinary Pathology Society (GUPS, USA).

Adjunct Professor from 2005 to 2015 at University of Milan School of Medicine for training to residents in Anatomic Pathology.

Professor at the Master of Oncological Pharmacology from 2012 to 2014 at University of Milan.

Since 2018 he is a Professor in the Master in Urology – Male health and prostate: a multidisciplinary approach, at Humanitas University.

Adjunct Teaching Professor at the School of Specialization in Anatomic Pathology, at Humanitas University.

Since 2021 he is Associate Professor of Pathology at Humanitas University and Medtec Huniversity, discipline MED/04.
