Community
Who are Humanitas University Alumni?
All former HU students who have been awarded a degree from Humanitas University: Undergraduate, PhD, Master, Specialty School. All tenured or tenure-track faculty while at Humanitas University are also considered Alumni.
Who are the On Campus Alumni?
They are graduates from HU who are pursuing a new study program at HU; for example graduates, currently enrolled on a post-graduate degree program, in a residency program or master’s programs.
Can you become an Alumnus/a without a HU degree?
No. The only way to become a HU Alumnus/a is to be awarded a degree from Humanitas University.
What is the HU Alumni Community?
HU Alumni Community is a dynamic and international community network that fosters professional and personal relations between HU Alumni, HU Students and the University.
Do I have to pay a fee to join the HU Alumni Community?
You automatically become an Alumnus/a when you complete your degree. Being part of the HU Alumni Community is free of charge, all you have to do is register to the HU Community. To register, please fill in the form and accept the regulations by entering your details on the Humanitas University website and on the HU Alumni App.
Do all Alumni automatically become part of the Community?
No, to join and participate in the initiatives and take advantage of the services offered, you need to register to the HU Community by completing the form with your personal details. Membership is free, does not require renewal and can be cancelled at any time.
What opportunities are reserved for Alumni who join the Community?
The Community is a networking hub based on a sharing of values and experiences. It is a service that allows you to develop your professionalism by optimizing the sharing of experiences, training and research thanks to continuous and fruitful exchanges that involve national and international realities related to the University and participation in exclusive events, aimed at fostering the human and professional growth of Alumni. Seminars and courses are also made available at special rates and Microsoft 365 services.
How can I connect with other Alumni?
By joining the HU Community, you will be able to download the HU Alumni App for free, the app is available for both Apple and Android devices. You should use the Alumni credentials you received to enter. Click on community, search for the name of the Alumnus/a you want to connect with. If he/she has also joined you can exchange messages. If you do not know the name of the Alumnus/a but you are interested in a specific geographical area, you can carry out a search starting from the chosen country.
Communications
How can I receive communications from the HU Alumni Community?
To receive our communications, you will be sent an email address @alumni.hunimed.eu. Communications are usually sent to your Alumni email or/and published on the Alumni app.
How do I get an @alumni.hunimed.eu email address?
You simply need to register to the HU Community by completing the form, accepting the rules and uploading your detail on the Humanitas University website.
How long will it take to receive my HU Alumni credentials?
Within 10 working days after registration.
How do I unsubscribe from Alumni?
You can unsubscribe at any time from the University mailing lists. The unsubscribe option is given to you at the bottom of the page with every communication you receive.
HU Alumni APP
What is the HU Alumni app?
It is a free application available on both Google Play and Apple Store. The app has been created to facilitate interaction between Alumni, as well as to foster exchanges between all Hunimed members, allowing Alumni from around the world to stay in touch with each other. Through the HU Alumni App, you can look for members by name, graduation year, professional role, speciality, and country.
Who can use the app?
All Alumni registered in the Alumni Community as well as all HU students from their 3rd year of study onwards can use the app.
What are the benefits of downloading the app?
Having the app not only facilitates interaction between Alumni, but also fosters exchange between all Hunimed members, allowing Alumni from around the world to keep in touch with each other. You can also request degree/diploma certificates, stay informed about events, seminars or training activities organized specially for the community or reserved for Humanitas staff. You can reserve a place or be connected online to the streaming session of all these events. Finally, the app allows access to all events, training courses and seminars published on Humanitas Edu at a special rate.
What are my login credentials?
For HU Alumni, these are the credentials received when you registered for the Alumni Community, while for HU students, they are the @st credentials received at the time of matriculation and used for all other HU platforms (e.g. institutional box, LMS).
I can’t remember my username and password. How can I retrieve them?
If you can’t find your credentials, you need to write to both alumni@hunimed.eu and support@st.hunimed.eu.
My details are not up-to-date. What should I do?
You need to log in and access your private area. Here you will find sections for your contact details and personal information related to your professional career and your interests. All your details can be updated.
Some of my details are wrong, but I can’t update them. What should I do?
Please contact alumni@hunimed.eu clearly indicating the problem.
