Education and Academic appointments

Professor Piergiuseppe Colombo is in Humanitas since 2000, where he dedicated his efforts to surgical pathology of all fields of human diseases.

  • 2019 member of the Regional Board of the Italian Society of Pathological Anatomy (SIAPEC). He is Member of the National Panel for the histological review of prostate biopsies of the Italian Protocol for Active Surveillance (PRIAS) and of the Genitourinary Pathology Society (GUPS, USA).
  • 2005–2015 Adjunct Professor  at University of Milan School of Medicine for training to residents in Anatomic Pathology.
  • 2012– 2014 Professor at the Master of Oncological Pharmacology  at University of Milan.
  • 2018 Professor in the Master in Urology – Male health and prostate: a multidisciplinary approach, at Humanitas University
  • 2018 Adjunct Teaching Professor at the School of Specialization in Anatomic Pathology, at Humanitas University.
  • 2021 Associate Professor of Pathology at Humanitas University and Medtec Huniversity, discipline MED/04.
