Student Services
The Humanitas University campus is designed to offer students a welcoming, modern and functional environment for both study and daily life. Every space is intended to support not only academic growth but also personal well‑being and the opportunity to fully enjoy the university experience.
Well‑maintained facilities, dedicated study and social areas, support services and numerous student initiatives make the campus a pleasant and stimulating place where you can feel part of an international community.
Particular attention is paid to quality of daily life: a dedicated app allows users to report any needs or faults so that spaces remain functional, safe and enjoyable. Campus Life therefore means studying in a dynamic, well‑managed setting where learning is complemented by personal development, well‑being and shared experiences.

Counselling Service
The counselling service is a free service provided by Humanitas University offering students a short course of psychological support.
In meetings with the psychologists who work with the service, students can explore issues or difficulties that cause worry, stress or distress in a safe, welcoming and non‑judgemental environment.
What kind of issues can be addressed through counselling?
- Problems related to university life (for example: study methods, organisation and planning, stress associated with exam periods);
- Personal difficulties (for example: adjusting to relocation, adapting to a new environment and lifestyle…);
- Relational difficulties (for example: periods of crisis in friendships, family relationships, or romantic relationships…);
- Stressful events affecting psychological well‑being (losses, bereavement, etc…).
How are counselling programmes structured?
The programme usually consists of five sessions, which may be extended if the practitioners consider it necessary. Sessions are held fortnightly and can take place either face‑to‑face at Humanitas University or online. Each session lasts 45 minutes.
How can I book an appointment?
You can book an appointment by e-mailing counselingservice@hunimed.eu
Mentorship Service
The student mentorship programme is organised and supported by Humanitas University under the supervision of the Office for Medical Education and the International Student Office.
What is peer mentorship?
The mentoring programme matches junior students (mentees) with senior or more experienced students (mentors), who act as advisers and guides, providing support and feedback to the mentee.
What is the role of mentors?
Mentors support junior students by answering questions about university life (both curricular and extracurricular activities), sharing relevant experiences and providing students with contacts they may need.
How is student peer mentorship organised at Humanitas University?
Each year, incoming students are connected with a group of second‑year tutors via the LMS online platform, where students can ask questions, form groups or request individual appointments. This peer‑mentoring programme supports students throughout the six‑year degree course.
For more information about the mentorship service, e-mail to officeformedicaleducation@hunimed.eu.
Services for students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD)
Humanitas University has a Service for Students with Disabilities and SLD that provides orientation upon entry to the University and support throughout the course of study, with the aim of identifying and designing the types of assistance each student needs to successfully complete their programme.
By registering with the Service for Students with Disabilities and SLD, students receive counselling supported by a neuro-psychologist specialised in SLD. Students discuss and define their needs and the necessary support measures in a tailored manner and in accordance with the CNUDD guidelines. The service also provides a handbook with practical and useful advice.
