Master
The postgraduate Master’s programmes at Humanitas University are designed for graduates and professionals seeking to refine their clinical, research, and managerial skills.
The Master’s courses, at both first and second level, offer advanced training that combines theoretical and practical skills, founded on a synergy between academia, clinical-hospital settings, research, and industry.
Courses delivered in Italian and English include lectures and online activities via advanced e-learning platforms, integrated with theoretical-practical modules, project work, and observation and simulation activities at facilities such as the Simulation Center and the Cadaver Lab, as well as in the departments and outpatient clinics of the Humanitas Group and partner institutions and companies.
Activities generally span 12 months, including internship/project work and the preparation of a final thesis. The educational commitment is approximately 1,500 hours, corresponding to a minimum of 60 CFU.
The postgraduate offerings at Humanitas University include two types of programmes:
Specialising Masters
Aimed at doctors, nurses, and health professionals interested in acquiring advanced sector-specific skills.
They can be of first or second level, offered in Italian and/or English, with the aim of providing a vertical and specialised training in areas directly related to their professional field.
Executive Masters
Aimed at professionals worldwide who want to lead innovation in the biomedical field and address future challenges.
These are first or second-level courses, mainly conducted in English, designed to promote career growth or change for mid- and senior-level professionals.
These Masters combine biomedical and scientific expertise with technological, managerial, and soft skills components, also strengthening links with industry through case studies, project work, visits, networking, and international collaborations.
