Quality Assurance Policies
Humanitas University adopts a Quality Assurance (QA) system focused on continuous improvement, enhancing potential, and managing critical issues. This system ensures best practices in the planning, implementation, monitoring, and review of educational activities, research, and the Third Mission.
The QA policies set out the objectives, improvement measures, relevant stakeholders, and their respective responsibilities within the university’s quality system. The Quality Office, working in collaboration with institutional leadership and in alignment with the strategic plan, contributes to the development of QA policies, proposes quality indicators, and ensures their effective communication to all stakeholders.
Teaching Quality Assurance Process
The QA process in teaching involves:
- Planning and design of degree programs, including newly established ones and any curricular changes.
- Delivery of teaching, including organising lectures, managing spaces and administering assessment procedures, and the provision of student services such as orientation, international mobility and access to education.
- Monitoring and evaluation of activities through data collection and analysis, measuring the attainment of educational objectives, and evaluating the effectiveness of processes.
- Measures for continuous improvement to ensure consistency between program outcomes and objectives, incorporating feedback from the CPDS (Course Program Director Committee) and the Student Council.
