Humanitas University welcomed graduates from different cohorts back to Campus for the first-ever Hunimed Alumni Reunion, an evening dedicated to reconnecting with former classmates, sharing professional experiences and celebrating the strength of a growing international alumni community.
The event opened with a plenary session featuring Prof. Carolina Greco and Dr. Sara Lovisa, members of the Alumni Board, who welcomed participants and reflected on the importance of maintaining strong ties between alumni and their alma mater.
A highlight of the evening was the conversation between Prof. Marco Montorsi, President of the Alumni Board, and chef Davide Oldani, creator of Cucina Pop and special guest of the event. Together, they explored the relationship between medicine and cuisine, highlighting how both disciplines are guided by a shared pursuit of excellence, precision, innovation and care for people.
The reunion also provided an opportunity to celebrate individual achievements within the Humanitas University community. During the evening, Dr. Giovanna Muci received the first-ever Hunimed Alumni Award, in recognition of her commitment to medicine throughout her years at Humanitas University and her embodiment of the values that define the institution.
The celebrations continued with a special dinner curated by chef Oldani and his brigade, creating an informal setting where alumni could reconnect, exchange memories and strengthen professional and personal relationships. Music and shared moments contributed to an atmosphere of warmth and belonging, reflecting the enduring bond between graduates and the university.
This first Hunimed Alumni Reunion marked an important milestone in the development of the Humanitas University alumni network, reaffirming the University’s commitment to fostering a vibrant community that continues to grow well beyond graduation.
