Humanitas University and the School of Medicine of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-SZ) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening academic and scientific collaboration between the two institutions.
The agreement builds on a shared vision of the future of medicine, where clinical excellence, research, technology and education are increasingly interconnected. Both institutions share a strong integration between university and hospital environments, with the common objective of preparing future healthcare professionals to operate in a rapidly evolving medical landscape.
The collaboration will focus on developing opportunities across medical education, clinical and translational research, digital health and technology-driven healthcare innovation, with particular attention to the role of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in shaping the future of patient care.
The partnership will create new opportunities for international mobility and knowledge exchange involving medical students, PhD candidates, researchers and faculty members. Through these initiatives, students and professionals will have the opportunity to experience different healthcare ecosystems, combining Humanitas’ integrated academic and clinical model with Shenzhen’s dynamic environment in technological and digital innovation.
The MoU represents the first step toward the development of joint initiatives and long-term academic collaboration, reinforcing Humanitas University’s commitment to building a global network of partners focused on innovation, internationalization and the future of medical education.
