Academic background
- From June 2021 to February 2022 Assistant Professor in Hematology at Pavia University, Italy
- From November 2019 to May 2021 Post-doctoral researcher at Center for Hematology and Regenerative Medicine, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden
- From December 2014 to June 2015 Post-Doctoral Fellow at Leukemia Department, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston (TX)
He has been working on translational research projects in myeloid neoplasms since 2018 focusing on incorporating detailed molecular information from DNAseq and RNAseq into clinical practice. His research is aiming to improve classification and treatment of myeloid neoplasms by exploring germline and acquired mechanisms driving myeloid neoplasms development and disease progression. He is member of Italian Hematology Society and Nordic MDS Research Group.
