Humanitas University promotes continuous dialogue with the school sector, collaborating with institutions of all levels, from primary to secondary education.
The university supports the dissemination of scientific culture and health awareness, stimulating curiosity among young people, fostering the development of cross-disciplinary skills, and promoting the construction of a scientific citizenship on topics related to science and prevention.

Objectives
- Facilitate meetings between the academic world and schools through inclusive, accessible, and engaging educational initiatives.
- Promote interest in health professions and STEM disciplines, encouraging future vocations and talents
- Develop school-university orientation pathways dedicated to the life sciences.
- Support students in cultural and personal growth journeys, with special attention to developing transversal skills for lifelong learning.
All activities are coordinated by a dedicated Working Group working in synergy with the Delegate for the Third Mission and the Schools Office.
Humanitas University’s commitment to the school world is an integral part of its educational vision, actively involving faculty, staff, and students. Through structured PCTO programmes, experiential laboratories, outreach events, and orientation sessions, the university fosters community ties and contributes to building resilient, informed, and aware communities.
Areas of Intervention
- Scientific outreach activities for schools: PCTO, open events, science festivals, and laboratories.
- Orientation initiatives: Open Days and Professional Days, Campus tours, Student Ambassadors, and university Preparation Weeks.
- Educational projects to develop transversal skills and scientific citizenship.
- Training and update sessions for teachers and educational institutions.
