Education Certification as a teacher in simulation in 2011 and from the American Heart Society for teaching ALS, in 2013. Certified by the Italian Society of Echocardiography for trans-thoracic echocardiography (2015) and by the WINFOCUS society for general ultrasound (2015). Involved in bedside teaching in Anesthesia and Intensive Care to medical students and residents (formal and informal bedside teaching in several aspects of critically ill area including cardiovascular and respiratory physiology, pharmacology, description of hemodynamics devices and general principles of shock management). Involved in ultrasound courses for residents and students, specifically dedicated to basic and advanced echography use in critically ill and surgical patients. Currently responsible for teaching several courses at Hunimed University in the Bachelor of Medicine, MEDTEC School and the Bachelor of Science in Nursing. In addition, I am actively involved in the resident training program and mentoring of the Anesthesia and Intensive Care Residency Program.
