Internship agreements

Incoming students

Incoming students are accepted only if a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Humanitas University and their Home institutions supported, where appropriate, by a Learning  Agreement is present.

Upon an application for a traineeship, the candidate is requested to provide specific information concerning his/her previous academic background and the specific expectations on the internship.

How to apply (deadline: March 5th)

  • check the availability of clinical rotations; clinical rotations are offered throughout the academic year (September – June) in accordance with this timetable
  • send the following documents to international.office@hunimed.eu:
    1. Humanitas Internship Form
    2. Your Curriculum Vitae and academic transcripts
    3. If you have it, your Erasmus agreement for traineeship

The application is revised by the Office for Medical Education for its feasibility with respect to the content and timeframe.

If the content of the application is accepted and there is no previous MOU between the sending Institution and Humanitas University, the Director of International Relations evaluates the opportunity of implementing such an agreement by contacting the sending Institution.

Outgoing students

Humanitas University’s students interested in spending a period abroad need to contact the President of their degree course that together with the Office for Medical Education will help them in outlining the formative content of their stay, its appropriate timeframe with respect to their curriculum and in identifying the foreign institution where to send the application.

In this short video some Hunimed medical students talk about their training periods around the world (US, China, Korea, Luxembourg):
