Exchange Programs

This page describes Humanitas University’s procedures for mobility under exchange programs.

Specific procedures are foreseen for incoming students and outgoing students.

Incoming students

Incoming students are accepted only if a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Humanitas University and their Home institutions supported, where appropriate, by a Learning Agreement is present.

Initial Steps

A Learning Agreement must be negotiated in advance between Humanitas University’s Office for International Relations supported by the Office for Medical Education and the incoming students’ Home Institution.

For any practical issues (including finding and accommodation and subscribing to public transport) or support in completing the necessary paperwork, Incoming students can refer to the International Students’ Office that will also provide them with all the necessary credentials for access to the teaching area and to Humanitas University’s services, including clinical laboratories and departments where appropriate.
The International Students’ Office is also responsible for organizing the Safety and security procedures.

Outgoing students

Humanitas University’s students interested in spending a period will have to organize their Learning Agreement under supervision of the Office for Medical Education to guarantee its consistency with the formative program of their course degree.

Such an agreement will then be validated by the Office for International Relations that will proceed to send it to the hosting Institution.

Following the return from mobility, outgoing students are requested to present to the Office for International Relations the original Certificate of stay and the Learning Agreement filled out in all its parts: initial version and any revised version, both duly signed by all the parties and the Transcript of records.
