Transfer to Medicine

The students enrolled in a degree course in medicine can transfer to our university without taking any admissions test. The possibility to transfer depends on the number of places available for the year of study requested.

The students enrolled in a degree course in medicine who wish to transfer to our university do not have to take any admissions test (as per the Council of State, Plenary Meeting, 1/2015).

Admittance to the Degree Course is subject to selection through the University Transfer Procedure as explained in the 2017 Call for Applications for transferring students.

The possibility to transfer depends on the number of places available for the year of study requested. We can consider transfer applications only when this maximum number has not been reached or in the event a student drops out, making a place available. This is the current status of available places per year:

  • 2nd year: 2 places available
  • 3rd year: 3 places available

Humanitas University will consider transferring students to the 4th year if  the University study program of the incoming students closely matches the content of the Humanitas University study program.

Check out the Admission Requirements for transfers.

Humanitas University does not accept applications for the 5th or 6th year. Admission to the first year are exclusively granted through the admission test
